Refund & cancellation policy

Al Buraq Travels (also written Alburaq Travels) is a trading name of PEOPLI LTD. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for packages booked with us.

Before you pay

Website from-prices and informal quotes are not bookings. If you have not paid a deposit or balance, you may withdraw without a cancellation fee.

After you book

Once we confirm a booking in writing and you pay, airline tickets, hotels and visas are often purchased immediately. Refunds then depend on supplier rules and how close you are to departure.

How to cancel

Email inquiries@alburaqtravels.co.uk or call +44 20 3468 1077 with your booking reference and passenger names. We will confirm the cancellation in writing and explain any recoverable amounts.

Typical cancellation charges

Exact charges are set out on your booking confirmation. As a guide:

More than 60 days before departure: deposit may be partly or fully retained to cover admin and supplier fees; unused recoverable costs may be refunded where suppliers allow.
30–60 days before departure: higher charges usually apply; flights and non-refundable hotel rates are often non-recoverable.
Less than 30 days before departure / after tickets issued: packages are often non-refundable except where a supplier credit or airline refund is available.

Visa fees and third-party charges that have already been paid to government or suppliers are generally non-refundable.

Changes requested by you

Date, name or hotel changes may incur airline and hotel amendment fees plus an administration charge. We will confirm costs before making the change.

If we cancel

If we cancel your package for reasons other than your breach of contract, we will offer a suitable alternative or a refund of amounts paid for services not provided, in line with your confirmation and applicable consumer law.

Refund timing

Where a refund is due, we process it after we receive recoverable funds from airlines, hotels or other suppliers. This can take several weeks depending on those suppliers.
